The Government has not had a post in it in 5 days. Activity has dropped to an embarrassing level. Is this what we've become? I know over Christmas and new year we were quiet but that can be understood. Now though is a different story, I think we should start thinking outside the box, we seem to not push for the things we used to. I remember one time Jamzinia was seen as a big fish by other micronations, now however the nation is merely ticking over. Is this what we are going to do? come on guys. Lets get the activity up. We should start thinking about what we would like to do. We need to start planning our new steps, instead of talking about recruiting we should just get our heads together and start talking about different ways of recruiting. I really, really want to see this micronation active again. We seem to get to the point were if we pushed for a little while longer then we would get somewhere but just as we get somewhere we all stop pushing. I am staying here, I'm not going to go quiet, instead I will post to myself if I have to. There is about three people active at the moment. I see some people posting and then they seem to disappear for a week and we have people saying. I'm busy with this or that but surely we could switch our computer on for 5 minutes and send a couple of posts? We really need the activity at the moment. If we don't post then nobody will post back and the forum will become stagnant and personally I don't want that. I want to sit and read posts from different people every time I log in. Come on guys lets see a bit more activity here. We can do it if we try and as soon as we start posting the activity will go up and up. I know people come on here just to read peoples posts but when the place gets active they start posting also. So if we all stick together and carry on posting on a regular basis things will improve. I don't want to see the micronation that I'm so proud of slip down the drain again because if we hit rock bottom I'll tell you now. Its a thousand times harder to get the ball rolling again. Lately Brandon's been the backbone of the nation the last month or so and he's been an inspiration if you ask me. He has stayed active when everyone else has gone quiet. I would personally like to thank Brandon for his commendable effort during this period of time and I must say I feel proud to be a citizen in the same micronation as this guy.
Well done Brandon you are truly an inspiration to the rest of us at present!post

You flatter me Keith. You've done more for this nation than myself, a thousand times over.
But you are correct, even I at this point am just going through the motions. Posting for the sake of putting a post on the board, to keep it alive and hope someone will reply. This isn't enough to keep Jamzinia going. We need something to work on; a goal that everybody can participate in, not just artists or musicians. As much as I find it distasteful, simulationism may aid us here.
We should all communicate often, on the forum as well as off, such as in MSN, and spread knowledge of Jamzinia in other micronations. Just post once or twice a day on each; it won't take very much time at all.

We need to put an end to this quiet period. We need to start getting the nation as active as possible. From now on, if we want to succeed we need to work harder than ever before. I'm not saying everyone needs to work hard but at least a minority of us do. At this present moment in time I know that some citizens just want to come here to enjoy the community spirit and thats more than fine by me but we do need to have people contributing more to the nation as a whole.
I don't believe for one second that if we come here day after day. week in, week out that we will ever meet any of our goals. Actually do we have any goals at this point in time? I'm not sure we do. They seem to have been forgotten. I'm not saying the nation doesn't have targets and goals, what I am saying is that nobody is trying to reach out and accomplish our goals.
From today I am going to start a campaign to get this nation active once again. If anybody is with me then let me know. Even if its just by posting more on the boards. That is a really good idea within itself. Setting yourself a daily amount of posts say 1 or 5 or 10, if every citizen that comes here posts 10 posts then thats more posts in a day than we are getting in a week at the moment!
Lets get to work guys, all of us should get into the government departments and get one idea in each and then lets get into the general boards and have a chat with our Jamzinian friends.
Be Proud people, Be proud!

I agree, and admit I am partly to blame in not putting in 110% As I said in the other topic from now on I shall be looking to put in that bit of extra effort, that extra post, that extra idea, that extra bit of progress. I want to make 2008 the year of culture as well as activity. Join me in this aim! Jamzinian Pride

Indeed. Let's not. My personal aim for 2008 would be for us to establish a tight-knit group of citizens. We don't need hundreds. Providing we have say seven or more who are all as dedicated as each other then we can begin looking to some of our goals.

You are absolutely right. Our first goal for the year should be to get ourselves 10 regular citizens

Should we try to make current citizens more active, or find zealous recruits to revitalize the nation? I'm the poster boy for the latter.

I would like to apologise and even though I was elected Prime Minister of Bobalania, I still want to have a presence in Jamzinia, I hope all is well within this nation, after reading the comments it seems comments are on their way back up but on a slow level. I hope all will be restoredsoon but I believe praise should not only be given to Brandon, but to everyone who clicks on that link to Jamzinia, they are the true heart of this nation, God bless Jamzinia

Yet another citizen returned to help boost activity. I can see this year being a good one for us.
