Just A thought I'v had before and no one has ever asnwered me fully. If global warming was to happen it would wipe out everything in existance. Could this mean that there has ben intelligent life forms here before and that were only to suffer the same fate.

it wouldn't wipe out everything.. just a lot of things...
and my favourite argument is that the dinosaurs were super intelligent and they built a nuclear reactor in Mexico... but unfortunately it exploded wiping out most of them... the others build a space rocket and will one day return to attack us and no one can disprove me.

if all humans disappeared tomorrow in 50 all that would be left of us would be submarine bulkheads buried in mud, CO2 emmisions and nuclear radiation...
