I realised once I'd mapped the image, it's something I'll correct when I have another go at blender. I did also try to include the atmospheric glow that Micras would have, similiar to earth's, but unfortunately I couldn't work out how to do it.

Blender's certainly not an easy programme to use! I've already forgotten most of the stuff I knew before, I'm going to have to look back at those tutorials again. Still, we have the achievement of being the first (and as yet only) nation to produce a 3-d image of the atos system!

I'm planning to re-do some renders of the Atos system in the comming days. This time I'm going to ensure the topographal map has no colour changes, they just make it look strange. If I had some info (and map images) on some of the other planets in the Atos system, I'd be able to render them too.

I can take defined maps and make planets.
Some pointed cropping and spherisizing does the trick.

Azzoria, I can do that on GIMP, I think Iehova did something similar as his application
