While thinking of Policies of my Party, I was wondering about an idea that would rule out the one Post bandits from the rest of us. How? A simple to test to see if they are genuine, they would be based on National pride and history, Both would be Jamzinian based. If they really want to visit Jamzinia, They must first pass the test say, 75% out of 10 questions, to be fully given citizenship.
Of Course, Foreign Guests wanting Treaties or just friendship would be given access via the Foreign Office.
I would like to hear your feedback.
Many Thanks,

It is a valid idea but there are a few key flaws.
Firstly, you cannot attain a score of 75% with ten questions.
Then there is the question as to what topics they would cover. Would they be general questions involving history, the sciences and such that sets a bar for a level of competence before being allowed to enter? Would they involve Jamzinian history and politics, a field that new applicants are unlikely to be prolific in?
If anything, I would make them extended response, open ended questions. One might be "Why do you want to become a citizen of Jamzinia?" Valid answers could range from "To make online friends in an online ersatz country," to "To further the micronational cause."

That idea I like
The Jamzinian Royalists would support this idea and would back any attempt by the Conservatives to bring this in.
Id like to think maybe add it as part of the citizenship process which is what I think you meant? maybe have say 7 questions out of 10 correct for a pass rate. I agree that some should be open ended.
I agree totally with that especially. I think its a wonderful idea but as I said I do think the questions should range from open to closed. Maybe have half and half or something

I personally like this idea. However it would require alot of discussion as to what type of questions were asked, of course along with potential correct answers. Obviously should we opt to go down a open question route, we would pottentially need someone to look over the answers in order to decide whether or not the answers are satisfactory. For this, maybe we would need a critera stating what we look for in each answer to each question.

I could observe the entry test answers and pass on those which I consider disputable to the higher-ups.
1. Why do you want to be a citizen of Jamzinia? (Open) To experience an online micronation.
2. How would you participate in the government? (Open) I would vote when it is necessary but not run for office.
3. What is a micronation? (Closed-Open) A nation that macronations don't recognize.
I might come up with a few others but I'm off to bed. It's getting late.

I am glad that my idea is supported and am especially pleased with William, who actually supported my idea ! And of course there are going to be flaws because every idea has them but we decide as nation, and Personally I believe that some sort of Duty Monitor should be brought in to monitor these tests and choose the citizens etc. A Possible Post for azzoria!

I would be willing to accept the position of Citizenship Minister or a position to a similar effect if it would be prudent for the government of Jazminia to appoint me as such.

I have read them, and I'm split between the Conservatives and Nationalists. Please don't promise rewards for victory; that's reverse lobbying to the extent of buying votes.
