I propose that the system of currency allocation by forum posts be removed entirely to be replaced with more endearing means.

Firstly, an economy must be developed for computer services, such as avatar making, historical chronicling, literary archiving, etc.

Secondly, the monetary system, though needing slight alteration, as outlined previously must be instituted.

The Citizen's totals will be updated every two weeks on the Status page. The money that the citizen holds can be used for various things, but mainly will be used to represent the amount of power a citizen has. For example only certain citizens may participate in certain votes of importance such as elections of a new party leader, and it will be only the richer citizens that are able to participate as they are the citizens who have worked hard in Jamzinia. Another change to be introduced also will be the availability of roles for citizens depending on the citizens worth. The Price / Requirements list will be displayed on the Price Lists shortly.

The transferrence of currency from that of the United States and United Kingdom by means of stamps and purchase of Jazminian products should also be encuraged as major economy currencies will add stability to the system.

Brandon, I must say that it an interesting idea. This is probably the most constructive post I've seen on the boards in a while and I think King James should consider this when reading.

Although I think we should keep the pounds per post idea because that way it gives new citizens the chance to earn more money.

I remember a chatroom I used to visit years ago now about 2001 and they used a wealth system and you used to have to pay to have an aviator and a signature. There were a few other things that you could pay for but I can't remember and the chatroom has been shut for years now, which is a real shame because I had some good friends there.

If not completely rem0ved, it should be limited.

It would cause inflation to the degree of making the economy meaningless.

All of the above is extremely reasonable and has the potential to be highly beneficial in kick starting the Jamzinian economy. I'd like to highly commend you for your efforts on this, Azzoria.

As we would still be looking to incorperate an area of reward, maybe we should look to reduce the reward for posts, rather than eliminate it completey. After all posting is effectively, in the majoirty of cases, aiding national development through participating and effectively showing an interest in Jamzinian affairs. Possibly something in the region of JD1 for every ten posts?

I think it's too early for that. Even the Prime Minister hasn't gotten an award (though I could be mistaken), and the only notable recipient was a Prime Minister that put a lot of time and effort into the nation, and no matter how much I do per post, what matters is how much I do in total.

I'm definately in favour of the proposal to reward Azzoria's efforts, however I do believe we should wait a little longer. It's not that I do not believe he deserves an award for his efforts, as I do. It's more to do with the length of time he's been here. No matter how good a citizen someone is, In my opinion it's always better to wait several months before rewarding them. Afterall if they are truely deserving of the award what's the rush? Someone who deserves an award should still be around in a few months time. Providing Azzoria is still with us come December, (I dearly hope he is) and that he maintains the same level of input, then you shall most definately see Azzoria rewarded for his efforts
