Aye, one plus is that it's positive and constructive suggestions though.
You know Spangle, that may actually prove to be somewhat of a gem of a quote, maybe we should be different in our money actually being worth something on it's own purely as a product. This in contrast to the majority of currencies being pieces of paper, or round pieces of metal. The original idea with using coins, was that they were gold, and ultimately worth something on their own. Should we look to incorperate that idea into something new?

As good of an idea as it is to back up out currency with bullion, it seems too difficult to undertake. No more than one or two, maybe three, of the citizens would ever have this imperial gold coin as it would be too difficult to produce and transport in contrast with digital currency. We simply must turn the digital economy into a properly functioning one, as per outlined in the Comprehensive Economic Reform thread.

The idea could potentially be equally as effective with the use of stamps. This however, as stated, should most definately not be the sole form of conversion and ilustration of the worth of our currency. As Azzoria has said, we should look to primarily develop an economy that can effectively and efficently exist virtually.

It should be possible to convert the money you can earn on the forum into money you could hold in your hands, it would be a great step forwards for the nation...

Nice try Spangle, but that post count won't help you. We could do a system where James has a Jamzinian reserve and the ratio of Jamzinian currency in circulation over the amount of bullion (i.e. macronational currency) would be used for conversion. This would ensure that unless the bullion grew (through donations or purchases) and you maintained a high account in Jamzinia (commitment) that you wouldn't be able to make a quick buck and walk off.

I mean jamzinian coins or notes, not macronational coins or notes

Jamzinian notes, maybe. Jamzinian coins, doubtful.

There are a few companies out there that will "print" custom coins for people quite cheaply...
