The Treaty of Non- Aggression

Dear Jamzinia,

I come to you on behalf of His Majesty King Olav I of Norvay and the Peoples of Norvay. My name is Bjørn Olsen and I am the Norvegian Foreign Secretary.

As a new Micronation we are looking to set up Diplomatic Relations with a number of Micronations.

We take this Foreign activity very seriously and would like to invite you to form a Treaty of Recognition with the Kingdom of Norvay. Such a Treaty would leave the door open to further relations on a number of matters in the future.

We believe that developing a network of Embassies throughout the micronational world will help us develop greatly and in time, hopefully, be of beneficial use to your nation too. We don't just want to open up and embassy and leave it at that! we would use our Embassies abroad as a tool to further development and understanding.

I would be delighted for Jamzinia to begin discussing diplomatic relations with Norvay. I have payed a visit to your site and forums on several occassions, and as I made it clear on MNN, I was extremely impressed!

We would like to propose our standard form of treaty of Non-Agression;

The Treaty of Non- Aggression.
Between The Kingdom Of Jamzinia & Norvay

The treaty of non-aggression shall acknowledge the recognition & lack of hostile intent between the above nations. This shall include recognition of : land claims; of both macronational and micronational nature, external organization associated with the nations, and the general existence of the nations as a whole.

Neither entity shall act hostile towards the other, nor shall either nation encourage another entity to do so.

Should a hostility arise, a meeting shall take place between the leaders of the two bodies, or delegated officials. Each nation may only forward one official. The purpose of the meeting shall be to avoid hostilities. Should an agreement not be reached, the treaty shall be dissolved, as shall it's terms and moral value. Changes to this treaty may be made pending approval of leaders of both nations.
