Jamzinian History Level 1
Overview:
This course shall look at the history of Jamzinia from it’s founding to the present day, although the course is intended to introduce students to Jamzinia‘s earlier days as a stepping stone. The course shall cover the major events and changes that have taken place which have helped shape Jamzinia. As the course is level 1 it shall not be looking at any more than the basic events themselves. Should students wish to delve further into the history of Jamzinia it is recommended that they should consider taking the Jamzinian History Course Level 2. This course will require students to answer a series of essay style questions, each no longer than a paragraph in length

Topics Likely To Be Covered In The Exam:
-The founding of Jamzinia; you may need to recall what inspired King James I to set about creating Jamzinia.
-The first General election and the events occurring as a result of it; You may need to know what date the election began and ended, the parties who ran in the election, the winners of the election and be prepared to put forward an opinion on whether it was successful and reasons why you believe that.
-The abdication of King James I; You may need to know when he abdicated, why he abdicated, and what happened following the abdication. (See “A Message Of Farewell”, and “I’ve Lost My Most Loyal Citizen”, Speeches).
-The flags: You may need to be able to order them chronologically
-The Honours system: You may need to know what each honour is awarded for and a few basic facts of the history of the honours system
