In order to run for the February 2008 elections, you need to ensure you are registered. The deadline for registrations is 9pm (GMT) 13th February. The election begins 9am (GMT) 14th February. Both independant and party registrations are accepted. Please ensure you state whether you are independant or member of a party. The name of your party, and it's leader is also required.
Also, it is strongly recomended that those wishing to stand should begin constructing their manifestos in preparation for the vote.

I wish to enter my party. The Jamzinian National Party. It is a party but at the moment I have nobody else working along side me. Hopefully this will change in the near future. My party policies are virtually ready

Strange.. Sometimes 'post' seems to also comes out at the end of some posts. I need to look into what's causing it.
But anyway, back on topic - Thanks for your party's registration, the election begins 9am tomorrow morning.

As of yet, officially no, which for the integrity of democracy of the elections, is not good.

That's very true. If we don't get enough people running for election, we wont have enough to fill the departments, and believe me we do not want to have to change the government system yet again.

No, I am not. I would have run if I didn't want my opposition to win.

You could run in Keith's party, all your would be votes would be benefitting Keith's Prime Minister cause. Unless of course you have no intention of running due to other matters. Obviously if you wish to retain your role in government you will need to run.
Can I take this oportunity to state the obvious and remind everyone that in order to take a place in the government, they will need to run for election, be it independantly or as part of a party.
