James I was thinking about special edition currency releases. Like a founders day one, a christmas one, a halloween one, a bonfire night one. You could bring out a new note each year on that event or something. Maybe designate each ammount an event. Such as 1 dollar be New years. 5 dollars be Halloween, 10 dollars be bonfire night, 20 dollars be christmas, and 50 be founders day?
Just an idea. Its nice to have unique traditions and we desperately need unique suggestions.

will there be coins or just notes? because most nations keep notes the same because they're easy to forge so having loads of different ones would be easy to forge, you could come up with a random design and say it's a new design...

unique serial numbers are usually the ... well the usual, but unless you're going to track every note in every transaction using some form of online database...
