Your Majesty,
I wish to propose we increase the work of our economy to include a salary for the people (in roles) and also taxes. We would need to set up a Government account so that taxes could be sent to that account.
Should this be granted by yourself, I also wish to propose that I may start "The deWaldeley Trust". The deWaldeley Trust would use part of the tax payers money to give citizens looking to start a business/market stall, a lump sum to help with costs, and to get started.
I am confident this will encourage more citizens to setup market stalls/businesses. I am also confident that it will add an extra dimension to the economy and ultimately the country.
Should the above two items be granted. I wish to propose that we apply for an MX2 account that would alow us to trade real products in the form of media (ie broadcasting rights of JTV productions) with other countrys, and to get profit for that. The profit would then go to the JTV shareholders. As I am looking to sell 30% of the company. Any profits made from programmes will then be split up accordingly amongst shareholders.

This is off topic but I feel it should be posted here of all places. Can you move "PM & JTV Owner" to User Title? That way it's a bit neater.
As for MX2? Go, go go! MX2 is certainly the best non-self hosted banking system.

This idea is one that we have looked at in many shapes and forms. I think that it is a really good idea and we should go for it. The only problem is actually making our money worth any amount but that is a problem that we can rectify together. I think that tax should start at a penny in the dollar so for every dollar you earn a penny goes to the nation. For this to work we will need a chancellor of the exchequer.

Well, I was thinking of enforcing taxes upon everyone, for example everyone must pay a basic tax of JD$15 Per week. This would spur on citizens to post more to get more money, or to get a job and to contribute to the economy. Then maybe all businesses/market stalls must pay JD$20 extra per week?

Interesting proposal but:
a) Why would citizens want to pay taxes? Is there some kind of punishment/reward?
b) Sounds a bit labourious... would you rely on citizens to send donations to the Tax Man? How would he know who did and who didn't?

Interesting proposal but: a) Why would citizens want to pay taxes? Is there some kind of punishment/reward? AnswerTaxes aren't for enjoyment, they are for the compulsery running of the economy. If people didnt pay taxes, the government in the UK would have no funds to deal with the problems that arise. b) Sounds a bit labourious... would you rely on citizens to send Payments to the Tax Man? How would he know who did and who didn't? AnswerQuite simple if you ask me, Anyone not paying taxes is imprisoned in the dungeons. (ie - cant post elsewhere)

Anyway, Your Majesty - Shall we set about setting up the foundations for this?

Absolutely, as you have seen since I came to be king there are a lot of ventures that I have started out to achieve and most of them seem to be away from Jamzinia but with the best interest of Jamzinia. This shall be the first thing that we shall set into stone along side the Government. I think this time when the Government is set in place we should not tamper with it.

Yes, I agree, I'm going to take steps to plan this government out thouroughly. Previous governments have been rushed and I don't think that has helped our cause.

I think that the governments we have put together have been good but it has really been down to the prime minister to make the government work and some have seemed a little uncommited in the past.

Another issue would be that Parliament should be looking over proposals for new laws/modifications rather than deciding what should be done next. A Judicial system will be part of the new government as I have learnt that the Judicial system does in fact modify laws and provide a basis for the law in future.

As far as I am aware you were removed of power a long time ago. Since your last visit we have infact had 2 other pm's. You must understand that micronations can not wait for citizens to return because most do not. But if you wish to be part of the nation still I can certainly find a senior position for you to fill until the elections.
