A coup has been staged against the now former King Keith. The coup, headed by James Williams, founder and once again Monarch of Jamzinia was successful. The following speech was given on the "Jamzinian forums (2nd edition)" -
"I'm at the end of my teather. 26 days. In which we have seen 1 post from the King. One. Some may say that it is not of my concern as I am no longer King. I'd agree if King Keith hadn't personally persuaded me into not leaving Jamzinia not so long ago; by claiming if I did I would be giving up. Well I've taken this advice a step further. I'm not giving up on Jamzinia. I appreciate there are times when activity is low, but the last thing a nation needs during this, is an inactive King. Jamzinia constantly drifted between activity - high and low whilst I was in charge. But I never gave up trying to get people posting. I founded no less that four different governments.
I appreciate Kieth and his work in Jamzinia a great deal but I have realised I have become disilusioned in what my priorities are. I'm a person who rarely speaks out against other people whom I like. I don't like upsetting people but this time I'm affraid my priorities have had a re-shuffle. As Keith, himself, once said to me, "Don't give up on Jamzinia", that being a statement that I have come to realise is indeed of great sence.
If the good of Jamzinia and it's status in the Micronational world is all I look for in my actions, that are to come about. I am staging a coup to take back the Crown. Involvement - both externally and internally has been poor. I will change that. Over my period of absence I have realised that 'Success is falling down 9 times and getting up 10'. Jamzinia will be a long term project for me.
After a very shaky start, Calundy has seen good levels of activity recently. I believe I can do the same for Jamzinia.
I will however not be ruthless in that the 'forum' and 'new ideas on it' are taken. I am reverting back to the old forum with 'Jamzinia'. Keith may continue running this new country he has here, and may rename it. All I know is that it is not Jamzinia.
Appologies to those who this will upset. You have been of great help in the past, and no doubt a betrayal will be felt.
I've lost my most loyal citizen, but have taken my country back.
King James I of Jamzinia
Restored."
It is now suspected that another speech outlining the plans of the New Jamzinia will be released sooner rather than later. The possibility of a United Kingdom of Calundy & Jamzinia now seems likely.
