I've seen the wiki of the Non-Fifa Org and it looks promising - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-FIFA_FootballTomorrow, I shall send an email to them asking whether we would be able to join, as a sub division. I'm pretty sure they'd allow it, as they seem keen on new members (especially those not recognised by fifa). I'll post my email that I send here tomorrow, and shall keep you all upto date. Also some other links - www.vivaworldcup.info/en1.htmviva.forumup.com.mx/

I dont know if this helps but quite a while back I applied for Leothuania to become a member of the NF-Board by simply following the link on the Wikipedia page for it, and emailing whoever it would concern (there was only one address). Not long afterwards, I recieved a reply with forms to fill in regarding membership, however I couldn't do it as there were details I couldn't fill in. If all five countries apply for membership as one body, I think there will be more chance of success.

Ok, What details couldn't you fill in? Oh and I've just found the 'criteria' for entering. It was in Spanish here- viva.forumup.com.mx/viewtopic.php?t=292&mforum=vivaBut I've translated it. Initially I was worried, the criteria looked way out of our league right up until the last one, as you will see - -Country or territory recognized by the UN or the COI -Member associate of the FIFA or of some continental confederation. -Member provisional of the FIFA or of some confederation. -Territory or community that sends off passports -Territory or community with seals in circulation. -Territory or community with code ISO. -Territory or community recognized by the most important organizations (UNESCO, World Bank. -A very strong cultural identity -Confederacies "not pleasing" by the FIFA -Territory or community affiliated to other sports - Confederacy with intense soccer autonomy. -Confederacy of people exiled sports or not. -Confederacies that do not have access to competitions organized by the FIFA But then the very final, and essential one to our cause - -Territory or community with flag and own hymn

-Territory or community that sends off passports well we'd be ok with just this one...

Exactly It looks promising.. However, should we be accepted, in order to play in the Viva WC 2008, each nation needs; 2 flags (at least a meter high for ceremony), Pennants (for exchange after anthems), national anthem on 2 CDs, Home kit (numbered) and Away Kit (numbered) This is obviously going to cost a fair bit, so should we be accepted the MFF should consider some ways to fundraise to provide a 'grant' to all our members wishing to participate.

Yeah 11 players - 22 Maximum. You can also if you wish take a coach and a physio.
I'm pretty sure we'd be able to get the pennants done pretty easily. Often the places that offer customised Kits (for Sunday league) offer customised Pennants too.
In regards to playing in the WC, Do you think it'd be an idea for all MFF nations (and members/players) to meet a few weeks before going to get to know each other, then travel over together. It would be cheaper to all chip in for a couple of coaches, plus it'd generally be nice us English based nations traveling together.

that would be a pretty good idea, but we are all spread out quite a bit, we'd need somewhere central to meet. if we can't get enough players, i was thinking, that maybe we could all join together (or a couple fo nations together at least) and play like that. only as a last drastic measure mind...

Yeah, we'd have to arrange a place that everyone could get too without too much hassle. It would be nice to make a social week/weekend (How long does the VIVA WC last?) of it. Obviously we'll need to plan it really well, but then that shouldn't be a problem as it wont be til Sept 2008.
And yeah I was thinking that too, if worst came to worst.
