Ok, Oxford's probably best. That's 110 miles from me; not too bad.. Oh and how far are you from Dover? If we were to take the ferry.

Ok, Just done a route planner and Portsmouth is about the same as Dover for me. Portsmouth's just 10 mins longer. So Portsmouth would be fine. Hmm, September 2008, which means I'll be 18 What are the laws regarding alcohol in Europe? are they the same as here (as in age laws) But seriously- Any ideas/thoughts on the fundraising issue?

Like the idea of the charity match! If we asked each player to pay say £2, we'd have £44 plus any further collections of sponsorship. We could also get someone to go around with some buckets, enouraging people to donate any spare change they have. Another option, although it may sound daft, is offering to pack bags at a local supermarket, then having buckets at the end of each till. I've seen people doing that for fundraising before, and if done on a saturday you can rake in several hundred quid.
Kris- Which people do you mean??

I dont get EMA Ok, we may have to ask players to put forward a certain ammount for the costs of the trip and the accomodation. I'm not sure how much, but I suppose we'd probably have to rely on them paying their own way in that sence. Then maybe we could look to fundraise for the Kits, flags, equipment such as balls and cones, and cost of coach travel and the ferry.

Yes, the Viva WC does allow sponsorships, so hopefully we'll be able to get one kit out of that

hi well reading all this sounds really good and im glad to see theres been so much progress. However, i think the idea of entering the Viva 2008 tournament as one body would be a bit pointless as we are after all representing entirely different nations. The kit issue isnt really a big one, we just need to email someone maybe like Nike, Addidas or Puma to ask them to make our kits for us, im sure the publicity will be sufficient for them to help. Flags; ive researched into it and yes they are quite expensive, but im sure we can find deals. Heres an idea out of the blue....we could ask the FA to sponsor us? Right now i think its important we just join the NF-Board so we can hopefully go to the Viva Tournament and represent the Micronations within Britain. Cheers.
