anyone heard of 'Brentford FC'? yeah they nicked Leroy Rosenior and Jo Kuffour off Torquay :/ actually i'm sure we could rent Plainmoor for a day. they need some publicity let's face it. it not my local team's pitch is free a lot of the time (may sound bad, but it's the third biggest pitch in Devon )

Ok, maybe we should draw up a list before we contact anyone; So far we have; Brentford FC'S Ground Plainmoor (Torquay) Crystal Palace National Sports Centre (Dont rule it out, take a look at ALL the pics - www.runtrackdir.com/picsindex.asp?country=uk&track=london-cpIt has a nice large track around the outside of the pitch - perfect for the laps of honour also lots of space for the opening ceremony.)

the Crystal Palace stadium doesn't look all bad, there looks like there's an astro court with ootball goals there too (training maybe). that first picture doesn't do it much justice though, it just looked like a pot hole from that

But yeah, it does look pretty good doesn't it? And the good thing is that as far as I am aware it is available for hire. The problem with football grounds is that most aren't due to regular use by the resident team, and most worrying about the pitch getting wrecked.

Yeah and not just for the teams traveling, but also the 'supporters' and citizens. It may need to be somewhere more central.
