The Government Officials Act 2007

The following legislation shall define the role and expectations of government officials in order for them to remain as members of the government;

Article 1 - Role & Expectations
1.Those citizens classed as members of the government are all those who hold an active role, that requires either the Monarch's Seal Of Approval, or the Citizen's Seal Of Approval.
2. Members Of Governement should represent the people of Jamzinia in planning for the future, it is their duty to ensure progression of their government area is swift, and that the progression of the nation as a whole is good.
3. All citizens who are awarded either the Monarch's Seal Of Approval, or the Citizen's Seal Of Approval, are able to become a member of government. The Seal Of Approvals last for a duration of one year. Once this time has passed, it is at the sole descretion of the Monarch, with the use of the Monarch's Seal Of Approval, as to whether the official in question should stay in their role for another year . Should the Monarch decide not to renew the seal of approval, the government official must wait to be selected for a citizens seal of approval election, or altertatively the Monarch may decide at a later date to allow the official back into government with the use of the Monarch's Seal Of Approval.
4. Members of government are required to post in their relevant government section at least twice per week, in a constructive manner. The government have been elected to represent the people of Jamzinia, and should be hard working and loyal in nature.
Article 2 - Consequences & Exceptions
1. Those government officials who do not comply with the posting requirements will have their seal of approval withdrawn, and will therefore have their status as a government member, revoked.
2.Should the situation arrise where a government official cannot access the internet, through means of illness, or holiday, the official in question will be spared of the requirements providing notice is given to either the Prime Minister, or Monarch at least 12 hours prior to absence. Officials are entitled to a maximum of four weeks notified absence per year.
