To ensure the government departments and their ministers are genuinely attempting to progress in their relevant areas, with a view to achieving their set objectives, I am introducing compulsory department reports . This shall see government ministers required to forward a report, of at least fifty words, once a month* to the Prime Minister.
The reports should include information on future plans, recent achievements, and details of any topics or ideas for the relevant sector. Should a government minister fail to provide a report they will recieve a warning, three warnings will result in both the seal of approval and the minister's position being removed.
Fifty words is not much at all, especially once a month, however the purpose of the reports is to ensure the ministers are maintaining an interest in the future direction of their departments.
*The reports must be submitted in the last two weeks of the month for that particular month.
