How fantastic that you have a calender. Is it used often?

I have seen that calender before. Makes for an interesting read, don't you think?

I wasn't aware we had our own actual calender. I knew we had national holidays but didn't realise we had our own months, weeks and days etc.

That would be really good. It'd make it so much easier to track the date in Jamzinian terms.

Yeah, Does Jamzinia have a time system too or just a date system?

Just dates, for the moment at least.

ok...
France has a separate time system that they made but never use.
10 hours in a day, 100 minutes in an hour, 100 seconds in a minute. (100000 seconds in a day) as opposed to 24 hours in a day, 60 minutes in an hour, 60 seconds in a minute. (86400 seconds in a day)
which means the French system has longer hours, longer minutes but shorter seconds.

The problem is, if we were to create a time system, to be careful that it doesn't affect the calender. It may be an idea to look at the time systems of other planets rather than setting up a new one entirely.

A time system wouldn't affect the calendar
Calendar organises days in a year Time system organises parts of indiscriminate length in a day
like the french one, the seperate numbers of things in days doesn't affect the length of days, just the length of the bits in the day
