I've began to notice a rather gradual, yet significant shift in terms of government priorities. Recently I've noticed the contrast between this government and previous ones grow larger and larger. At the moment there seems to be an awful lot of chuntering; "He's not doing this." "He's not posting enough" "He's not being a good rolemodel", etc. It seems rather than each of us concentrating on doing something constructive, we are looking for others to blame, or moaning about one thing or another. It's something that, bar prior to the last elections, hasn't occurred in Jamzinia before. Admittedly it is leaving a rather large doubt in my mind as to whether the current form of elections are a good thing for Jamzinia. It seems rather than those that are willing to help purely to do just that - help, we have political parties having petty disputes with each other, the constant bickerings between William and Kieran were a good example. Now, although that has ceased, I believe there are still lessons to be learnt.
In the past, no matter how many government members have been active, there was always someone working towards a new piece of legislation or project. Now, I do symphathise with the complaints, however I feel instead of looking where certain people are, and why they aren't posting, maybe we should be using that time more constructively. I'm not asking you to spend hours upon hours writing up new laws, I'm merely asking you to use what time you have more constructively. For instance, if you have a few minutes free, take a look at the wiki, see what you can improve, write a new article about something. Or maybe you could spend a few minutes writing up an article for the JNS, or a poem, or even drawing up a poster. Even little things like thinking of a few new words towards the language help.
Let's go forward together, as one.
