I'm all for the new national holiday, just maybe in a shift of type of holiday. With our activity begining to reach it's peek, maybe it wouldn't be such a good idea to have a day/week encouraging non-political posting, especially in the lead up to these elections. Maybe we should have a holiday like that at the end of a political term, later on in the year, maybe even incorperate it into founders day, encouraging people to concentrate on having fun and enjoying founders day/week. Maybe in substitute in genre for this holiday at this time, we could have a day celebrating our national food (Enrolló Pan), and for it to become tradition for Jamzinians to have a Jamzinian feast on this day, with the Enrolló Pan becoming the centre of the meal along with a Jamzinian desert and drink. At the moment we do not have a national desert or drink, so it would be a good oportunity to decide on one.

Yes, I think that would be a brilliant idea.

Great, tomorrow I'll set about working on a national drink and desert. I'll also post the recipee for Enrolló Pan.

that sounds good. Although there is no rush if the holiday is coming in August we could spend a long time through the year working on it and make the holiday truly great

That's true. I suppose we could set the day as a plemininary celebration to Founders Day, to be held on 11 August, almost as a build up celebration to the big day.

yeah, absolutely. This could be fun for us all. I think we should do little special things to celebrate. Thinking outside the box sort of things

I tell you what would be good, if were able to arrange the MFF's date to be on Founders Day. Would be an ideal chance to meet up and celebrate with some fellow citizens. However, that may pose a problem to the competition as mid August is a bit risky in terms of arranging a competition as alot of people are away.

Thats true, hey isn't it amazing how our national holiday lands smack back in the middle of the traditional holiday season?

I'll give my backing to this new idea too.

So we should produce a poll to see what drinks and deserts citizens would like for our national dish

Well ideally I'd like our deserts and drinks to be custom made, maybe in a similiar way to our national dish. I have an idea for our national drink which involves home made wine. At the moment I'm experimenting on making wine anway, purely for domestic use, so maybe I could have a play around with some ingreedients and see if I can come up with our very own wine.

A customised milkshake may be pretty cool. How about mixing the concepts of a smoothie and a milkshake?

Sounds interesting. Although don't smoothies have milk in anyway?
