We need to begin brainstorming some realistic methods of fundraising to be able to branch out Jamzinia. We are getting to the stage now where funding is essential for certain aspects should we wish to compete or participate in real life competitions and events.
If we are serious about Non-Fifa membership, and ultimately the VIVA World Cup 2008, we desperately need funding. To give you an idea of what we currently require merely for participating -
(Estimates)
-16 Shirts with numbers and logos~ £220 - 2 Flags ~ £200 - Equipment (Such as balls and cones) ~ £70
= £490
The above does not include any traveling expences or accomodation, which I would prefer to have also so that the players traveling don't have to fork out too much.
I'd also like to begin looking at items such as investing in a PO BOX, professional website with domain, etc
-A PO BOX ~ £50 per year -Website with domain ~ Around £30 per year
There are obviously other items on our budgeting lists; many items such as the coins, the stamps, the flags, etc. I'd like you all to contribute your ideas for fundraising, and also what you would prioritise our spending on.
I'll throw a new concept into the mix - Sponsored Events. Wild & wacky events for me and whoever else would be willing to participate.
