Kieran. I'm not being funny and I'm not trying to wind you up but I was thinking of exactly the same thing today! The name and everything. I was thinking of the Elite ( 50% because its my companies name) but when I just read your post then my chin hit the floor!

I, personally, see little need for this suggestion. We have Peers Court, a section of government for citizens who have been given a peerage. The peerage consists of only the most loyal and devoted citizens.
When you begin awarding the Prime Minister the power to grant peerages that ultimately lead to a highly important section of government being formed you are transfering a great deal of power over, from the Monarch. Jamzinia has always been a monarchy, and although at the moment we are a constitutional monarchy, the monarch heads the government. Im greatly against this and will state my stance on this issue if needed through a legislative veto.

Of Course, The Head of State will elect, but the Prime Minister may nominate someone surely? Only Nominate, not Award and I personally think it could combine withthe current peers court?
Many Thanks,

Im with James on this one. What exactly is the purpose of the idea if we already have a similiar system?

well I'm splitting the two up and creating a council and a court, Court for Citizens and Council for Government Ministers. The Council could work with the Court to bring up new ideas for Jamzinia.

But there are already two; the Hall of commons & The Court of peers. I believe the peers court is for those with a peerage to have a say in government. Then the commons for the commoners to have a say in government. How would having three work?
[Im really not trying to argue with you here. Im just raising a few points I have. I hope you understand that]

Of Course not my dear Miss Stevens, I like a good old debate. But I would prefer that we all got on together once the elections have finished. We need to build up a team to make Jamzinia a more brilliant place then it already is.
On answer to your question, The Hall of Commons is the current government in power. They make the overall majority of Parliament. What I am talking about is an award scheme in a cross between the Court of Peers and the Elite Council.
