Haha, you make it sound Like I know where those are I am a Scot, It is part of our culture to be ignorant about England and where things are there. All that comes to my mind when Devon is mentioned is farmers.

a scotsmans best friend <- For those who can't see, thats a link Angus is north of Dundee. As of the world cup. I am still thinking over whether it is possible to generate the money fo us to get a team and transport. It is very likely to spiral into the £100s, which Hamland cannot afford.

Good afternoon,
I represent a group of people from Northern England currently working towards forming a micronation (serious project, so the dull prep work is still ongoing sadly) and am just pretty much writing to register our interest.
We actually have plans to join a local league next season should the FA agree so this sounds like it could be a good preseason laugh.
But anyway, the point I really registered to make was to suggest if you are to have this in Yorkshire, York may be the ideal place, as it not only has easy road access (A1, A19 and M1), but Trainlines directly from Edinburgh/Glasgow, the North, West and South and as a tourist trap plenty of places to stay.
There is a large amount of greenspace within the racecourse where Sunday football is regularly held during the season (four full sized pitches would allow 8 5-a-side games). The teams using it currently are allowed to play for free and I'd suggest that were your tournament to be on a Saturday (or weekday) when there was no race meeting or other arranged events, you should be able to secure the area with little trouble.
Alternatively, the University also has both indoor and outdoor facilities that you could also make use of.
Sound like an absolute Tourist Rep, sorry ;D But just thought I'd throw it out there, I feel it would be ideal considering the problems put forth so far.
Thanks for your time.

Welcome!
Thank you for your information and taking the time to pay us a visit! Would your nation consider joining the MFF once it is up and running? We do require membership before a nation is able to compete in our competitions. I hope to hear from you soon.
